Pastor Bill Lamont was born, raised, and schooled in Ontario, Canada. He married his high school sweetheart, Sue. They have two children and two grandchildren. Bill received his Bachelor of Arts degree from York University in Toronto, and his Masters of Divinity at Knox College, University of Toronto, Ontario. He was ordained in 1983 and has served churches in Saskatchewan, Ontario and, for the last 14 years, at Hidenwood Presbyterian Church in Newport News, Virginia. He is a guitarist, woodworker, puppeteer and golfer and feels that his grandchildren are among God’s greatest blessings.
Richard Jernigan, a native Penscolan, is a Professor of Music at Pensacola State University. Richard received his AA from Pensacola State College, a BA from the University of West Florida and earned his MA degree from Louisiana State University. A professional musician, he plays clarinet for the Pensacola and Mobile Symphonies. Richard loves sailing on Pensacola Bay, or trail riding with his chestnut mare, Bitsy.
Joy Schulz is a native of Gulf Breeze and received her B.A. in Education from the University of West Florida. She has developed several non-profit outreach ministries within our community assisting those in need, as well as, served on various boards in local Santa Rosa county schools and recreational parks. She has been married for 32 years and has three sons. She is an avid runner, enjoys long distance biking and spending time at the beach.
